Trek on hottest day of the year raises £820!

Rebecca Palmer, our Fundraising and Communications Manager, joined over 1,000 other charity supporters on the hottest day of the year to walk 25km (about 15 miles) through London on the Thames Bridges Trek.

Rebecca said: “It was ridiculously difficult in the heat! I walked for almost five hours but did need a few breaks in the shade in the afternoon. I was reminded how important shelter is to those who have no home - the heat can be just as dangerous as the very cold.”
