CHRISTMAS CARDS

VOLUNTEERING AT FUNDRAISING EVENTS

We are looking for people to help us with fundraising at a Christmassy event in Chorleywood on the evening of 6th December as well as wrapping presents in Atria on Friday 13th December. Please email Hilary if you would like to help with either of these!

Toiletries, Packets of Biscuits and Chocolates

Branded toiletry sets and good quality boxes of biscuits and chocolates are always welcome for everyone we help whether that's a family in temporary accommodation, someone staying at our winter shelter, or someone in our Emergency Accommodation. Please just make sure that the chocolates don't contain alcohol. These can be dropped off on any weekday to the Fundraising Office above our charity shop on Queens Road.

CHRISTMAS APPEAL

The response to last year’s Christmas appeal was truly incredible, with over £57,000 raised to support people affected by homelessness and those rough sleeping in our town.

Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved this year - we have some amazing news to share when the time comes!

CHRISTMAS WISHLIST

We are collecting Christmas presents for both people sleeping rough and people living in New Hope accommodation. These items will help to bring comfort and joy during the festive period to some of the most vulnerable individuals in Watford and Three Rivers.

Some of these items will go to individuals who are moving into independent accommodation often for the first time in their lives or for the first time in many years. Your donations will help furnish otherwise empty properties and help making houses homes!

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR FAMILIES IN TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION

40 children will wake up on Christmas Day in temporary accommodation in Three Rivers. We want to make sure they wake up to some presents! Would your company be able to donate new items, such as stationery sets for teenagers, family games, children's books, single duvet covers for children, and warm bed socks?

If this is something you are able to help with, please email Rebecca for a full list.

**Donations to the Haven Support Centre**

We are so grateful for everyone who has donated to the Haven this year, we have received so much! Over the Christmas period, the list of items we need is rapidly changing so please get in touch with the Fundraising office on 01923 227132 to check what items we currently require.

Please do not bring items to the Haven unless this has been arranged in advance!

If you are thinking of ways to help people experiencing homelessness this winter, please do considering donating to our Christmas appeal, Home for Christmas, www.newhope.org.uk/donate
