VOLUNTEERING AT FUNDRAISING EVENTS
We are looking for people to help us with fundraising at a Christmassy event in Chorleywood on the evening of 6th December as well as delivering leaflets from 3rd to 8th December. Please email Hilary if you would like to help with either of these!
TOILETRIES, BISCUITS AND CHOCOLATES
Branded toiletry sets and good quality boxes of biscuits and chocolates are always welcome for everyone we help whether that's a family in temporary accommodation, someone staying at our winter shelter, or someone in our Emergency Accommodation. Please just make sure that the chocolates don't contain alcohol. These can be dropped off on any weekday to the Fundraising Office above our charity shop on Queens Road.
Donations to the Haven
We are so grateful for everyone who has donated to the Haven this year, we have received so much! Over the Christmas period, the list of items we need is rapidly chnging so please get in touch with the Fundraising office on 01923 227 132 to check what items we currently require.
Please do not bring items to the Haven unless this has been arranged in advance!
If you are thinking of ways to help people experiencing homelessness this winter, please do considering donating to our Christmas appeal, Home for Christmas, www.newhope.org.uk/donate
CHRISTMAS APPEAL
The response to last year’s Christmas appeal was truly incredible, with over £57,000 raised to support people affected by homelessness and those rough sleeping in our town.
Stay tuned for updates on how you can get involved this year - we have some amazing news to share when the time comes!
CHRISTMAS WISHLIST
We are collecting urgently needed items, such as hoodies, winter coats, and towels to help people who are currently experiencing homelessness, people who are living in New Hope’s accommodation, and individuals and families who are moving into their own homes.
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS FOR OUR HOMES
The residents of the Recovery Service and our four HopeHomes would dearly love a Christmas tree and decorations!
If this is something you are able to help with, please email Rebecca.
VOUCHERS FOR PRIMARK, CAFFE NERO AND COSTA
We would love to be able to give Primark vouchers to the 10 residents in the Recovery Service. If this is something, you can help with, please send us a message. We are also looking for vouchers for local coffee shops.
